Basic Analytics (website)
Our website uses a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics service (Matomo) that does not track you across other sites. We collect anonymized, aggregated data such as page views, approximate geographic region (country level), browser type, device type, and referring site. This data is used to understand which parts of our website are most useful and to improve the user experience. Matomo is configured to respect “Do Not Track” headers and does not use cookies that require consent under GDPR. No personal data is shared with third parties through analytics.

Local Practice Records (application)
The Dalbit Paceworks application stores your practice runs, splits, timing data, and settings entirely on your local device. We do not upload, sync, or access these records. The data is kept in your browser’s local storage (IndexedDB for desktop/web versions) or in the app’s sandboxed storage on mobile platforms. We have no servers that receive your practice data. This means your route timing, split history, and personal bests remain under your control. If you uninstall the application or clear local storage, this data is permanently lost. We do not offer a cloud backup feature because we believe in keeping your data on your own device.

No Collection of Personal Data from Minors
Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• Responding to your inquiries and support requests.
• Improving our website, application, and documentation based on aggregated analytics.
• Detecting and fixing technical issues, crashes, or performance problems (using anonymized error logs).

We also use Hetzner (a German hosting provider) for our website. Both providers are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and to implement appropriate security measures.

Legal compliance: We may disclose personal data if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation (e.g., a valid request from Korean authorities under PIPA). We will notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law.

Business transfers: In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via our website of any change in control or use of your data.

We do not use any third-party services that track your activity across other websites, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising networks.
